Day 1, Sun Depart USA to Ecuador. Arrive in Guayaquil and transfer to Your Hotel. balace of the day at leisure : GUAYAQUIL
Day 2, Mon Transfer to the airport for your flight to Baltra Island. Upon arrival, transfer to the pier and board the M/V Santa Cruz. Sail to the north shore of Santa Cruz Island to Dragon Hill. A dinghy ride among mangrovelined islets provides an opportunity to see teh dramatic landscape and coastline, various birds, marine iguanas, turtles and rays. Disembark (dry landing) for a walk near a lagoon frequented by flamingos, and to Dragon Hill, nesting site of land iguanas (B,L,D): CRUISE
Day 3, Tues Disembark at Bartolome Island (dry landing) for a hike to the summit. Later enjoy a panga ride around the colossal Pinnacle rock and time on the beach (wet landing) and snorkeling. Sail to Puerto Egas (James or Santiago Island) to view shore birds and land birds, as well as a colony of sea lions (wet landing). There will be an opportunity to snorkel and swin from the beach (B,L,D): CRUISE
Day 4, Wed Early morning arrival in Darwin Bay (Genovese or Tower Island). isembark (wet landing) at a smiall white-coralline beach. Walk a trail where frigate birds and various boobies, gulls, herons and finches can be seen. Sail to North Seymour Island, where you may see dolphins or whales en route. Disembark (dry landing) and explore colonies of blue footed boobies, sea lions and marine iguanas (B,L,D): CRUISE
Day 5, Thurs Disembark at Sante Fe (Barrington Island), which is one of the oldest islands in the Galapagos. Follow a trail among a tall forest of opuntia cacti, where large land iguanas can be seen, as well as a variety of finches and mockingbirds. Sail to Santa Cruz Island and disembark (Dry landing) at Puerto Ayora to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. See the giant tortoise pens, impressive giant prickly-pear cacuts forest and many land birds. (B,L,D): CRUISE
Day 6, Fri Sail to San Crisobal Island, and visit the Interpretation Center at Puerto Barquerizo Moreno. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Quito on the mainland. Balance of the day at leisure (B): QUITO
Day 7, Sat In the morning, tour Quito, the capital city of Ecuador, and a World Cultural Heritage Site. View the historic Legislative Palace, Independence Plaza and the 16th century San Francisco Monastery. Balance of the day at leisure (B): QUITO
